A couple quick things: - A friend suggested Silversword to me the other day; it's an updated game in the vein of the oldschool Bard's Tale games from the 80s. It's apparently a bit more humane than the first Bard's Tale game (of "Oh, to level up, you need to go to the Adventurer's Guild. Where's the Adventurer's Guild, you ask? Well, I guess you'd better start looking in random houses or buy the hint book to find out!" fame), but still plenty oldschool. Unfortunately, it looks like it's iDevice-only at this point, but it may be worth keeping an eye on- there's a chance it'll eventually land on the Androids, too. - The yearly Steam sale has started, and one of the games on sale at the time of this writing is the similarly oldschool Legend of Grimlock, which is modeled after the old Dungeon Master games. I'd meen meaning to pick this one up for a while; I finally got around to it yesterday. Vaguely RPG-ish indie darling Terraria is currently for sale, too, as is horror-themed Zelda-alike The Binding of Issac, whichI have no interest in but I guess Soulcleaver liked. ... There was something else I wanted to post about here, but I don't remember what it was now. - HC
