Since there are a lot of classic gaming and space shooter game fans on this board, I was wondering if any of you had heard of The Gates of Zendocon. Released by Epyx in 1989 for the Atari Lynx, it featured impressive graphics, audio, and level design for its day (especially for a handheld system). It is also notable for having a secret stage where you can shoot at the floating heads of the design team. I was introduced to this game in my pediatric dentist's waiting room a long time ago. He had two Game Boys and a Lynx. Since the Game Boys were both running Tetris (a game I was already intimately familiar with), I went for the Lynx instead. I had almost forgotten about this game, until I recently saw a YouTube video with gameplay footage and remixes of four of the game's audio tracks. Check it out!
