Today we interview our Industrial Logistics Expert student , Javier García , to talk to us about his professional career and his experience studying online at SEAS . >> Javier, thank you very much for taking this time to talk to us. Could you tell us a little about your professional career? My professional career has always revolved around industrial mechanics, in fact, I already took a course at SEAS years ago that was a postgraduate degree in industrial maintenance. I have moved through various companies and throughout the Spanish geography, with IQE (Industrias Químicas del Ebro) being the company in which I have been the longest, both working with external companies and within the staff itself, which is how I continue to be in the company.
present >> Currently, what does your job consist of? I had a work accident that significantly reduced the possibilities of continuing to work as a mechanic, the company Saudi Arabia Phone Number List offered me a change towards warehouse work, initially spare parts warehouses so I was still linked to maintenance and after the studies carried out at SEAS it has been expanded to production warehouses. >> What led you to start the Industrial Logistics Expert? When starting a new professional stage, I thought it was convenient to train in the subject in order to be able to better develop my work and also to progress personally in a field that at that time I was unaware of and that I could not imagine encompassing so many activities in the environment of a company. . >> What has this study contributed to your professional career? Possibilities to prosper, the world of work fortunately always invites progression and to make it real I do not know any other methods than study and effort.
It has given me knowledge on topics that are new to me, as well as breadth of vision in the sense that when you only know one sector in depth, you do not understand the problems of others until you deal with them personally. >> Do you think that carrying out this study could be decisive when it comes to job promotion? It's not that I believe it, it's that it has already become a reality. Obviously there are more factors that have also influenced, but in our company, training and continuous improvement have an outstanding value, so I am completely convinced that this study has had a high weight in the final decision. >> Do you consider continuous training important in the logistics sector? There is no doubt that the logistics sector is in continuous evolution, although trends can be sensed, in reality no one knows what we will be like in a decade. Technological innovations, transport adaptation, sustainability, more efficient warehouses, security, etc.
