This isn't RPG-related at all, but Ether Vapor- one of my favorite doujin-shooters-that-nobody's-played- is getting a re-release, with a pretty significant visual overhaul: indiegames.com/2012/06/demo_ether_vapor_remaster_edel.html
As I said in the comment thread on that post, I was a big fan of the original Ether Vapor, which was released 4 or 5 years ago- I put together a writeup for Hardcore Gaming 101, if you're interested in learning more about the game.
Looks like it's just a graphical update, but I'm totally picking it up when it gets released. I'm hoping for some extra stages or the option to play as the Whittard or something in addition to the texture refresh and the English translation.
