I recently obtained a hand-me-down Kindle Fire from my mother. You've got one too, right, Kalisiin? Mind if I ask a couple dumb questions?

- Are you using it with Amazon's software, or did you root it through Android? If the answer is 'rooted it', how difficult is it to do?
- Is it possible to transfer something from my web downloads to some other section of the device? I've got a couple books in PDF format that I've grabbed, and I can't figure out how to actually put them in the Books section... Or even the Docs. :P
- Is there a less terrible web browser available through the Kindle store? (may relate to question 1)
