Speaking of Kongregate, I started playing through Starwish after our last conversation about it. It's a hybrid shooter/RPG, and although the shooty bits aren't great and all the cutscenes feel like they're twice as long as they should be, it's pretty solid overall and I was pleasantly surprised with the storyline.
It's both pretty long by Kongregate standards- I'd say 6-8 hours- and pretty tough near the end, but it's worth a try.
