Another actiony RPG variant, Eastward Quest feels a bit like Slayin' (posted elsewhere on this board)- guide a knight on his quest ever-eastward through ten stages to defeat a dragon, but dodging up and down to collect powerups and beat monsters.
It's pretty fun, although the later stages often seemed to be a matter of getting lucky with powerups.
