I've owned a GameBoy (classic), many Mattel devices (football & Baseball), a PSP 2000 (silver) - which matches my newest purchase - an OpenPandora. I've played many others though... from friends of mine.
What have you owned and what's you're personal favorite PORTABLE game machines?

Oh wait...and a couple of laptops at least - forgot about those...maybe that should have been initially factored into my question. Dohhhhh....

Either way, that shouldn't prohibit anyone from answering...either list laptops or not...they are portable and so are port-a-potties.... I should have said "handhelds". Okay....I'm going to redo this whole thiiii....(Kumaki hits me with a high-powered fire house)....AhhaahHHHH!!!!!

Let's see... A Game Boy (original), Game Boy Advance SP, a DS, probably four different laptops, and most recently an iPhone 3GS. I had a Game Gear for a while, too... I never played it much and it currently resides in the closet, waiting for me to fix its surface-mount capacitors so it will work again.

Ahhh, never owned a GameBoy Advanced but the original Game Boy I had. Was seriously addicted to playing Tetris on it. Castelvania too.
Githzerai, do you have soldering skills? Like have you ever fixed something like that (resoldered new capacitors) on a pcb? I've seen some killer fixes and mods by some hackers on the Open Pandora forums...really thinking about hacking/modding mine when the time comes. I even ordered a spare (and autographed) pcb so I could see the entire layout. Fascinating stuff...

I've done some soldering before, but I'm not gonna lie- its been quite a while. That's one of the reasons I'm interested in fixing the GG, honestly; it's a fairly straightforward project (remove some bad components, replace them with new ones), and in a worst-case scenario, I'm not gonna be too heartbroken if I end up fucking up my GG beyond repair. My classic GB isn't working anymore either, but it's a system I'm more attached to. I'd feel a lot worse about inadvertently destroying it; I'm not gonna use that as a guinea pig for repairs. - HC

Well, let's see...going back to the beginning, as best I can remmeber:
Portable gaming consoles Microvision Various game & watch games GameBoy Advanced Nintendo DS Lite Nintendo DSi Nintendo DSiXL Dingoo Pandora
Portable Arcade Games (These are the ones that were electronic versions of full size arcade games, if you remember them) Pac-Man Q-Bert Galaxians
TV Gaming Consoles Odyssey 2 Atari 2600 Original NES Sega Genesis Nintendo Game Genie
Computer Consoles: TRS-80 Apple IIe Commodore 64 Other white-box machines
Laptops IBM ThinkPad by Lenovo Dell Latitude
I think this just about covers it. this does not count my Sansa Fuze+ MP3 Player, which is a piece of shit, and sits, unused, in my office, it's for sale, in fact, and loaded with 80's music - even if you hate the device, you could pull lots of music off it, if you will take it off my hands, please
This also does not count my Microsoft Zune, which is awesome, and I got to replace my shitty Sansa Fuze+ which you could never control properly...at least I couldn't...hence my deciding it was a piece of shit.
This also does not count my Droid 2 phone from Motorola.

I thought you owned a Playstation, too, at some point? Or were you playing DQ7 through an emulator?

So... yes, emulation then.
BTW, Franko- do you have any experience running homebrew on the PSP?

Well, can't speak for Franko on this...but I know I have experience emulating PSP on the Pandora! Not a lot of it works really well at the moment, but the emulator is in it's infancy.

That's nice, but it's also not the question I asked. - HC I'm aware of that. Thanks. My point was to point out that, since PSP emulation can be done on a Pandora...presumably PSP homebrew could also be done that way.
