Two quick questions relating to abilities in FF4 DS:
1. It appears that there's no way to get an ability back after you've assigned it. Is this correct? Do you get them back when characters leave the party?
2. Do Paladin Cecil and Adult Rydia inherit Dark Knight Cecil and Kid Rydia's abilities?

Hummm...if this FF4 is the same game as what was originally FF2 here in the States...the one where you go to the moon and everything....I seem to remember in THAT one...the abililties carried thru the class upgrade.
(Note: the FF2 I refer to here is the one that also put me off the FF series, because of the "Count" spell which truly ticked me off beyond all words.)

The abilities I'm referring to are new to the DS version. They appear to essentially be single-use items that give characters a specific command/attribute/etc (EG, the first one you get is auto-potion, which makes a character use a potion automatically when they're hit in combat).

Well, then. I couldn't say for sure about that.

Hmm.
So I didn't wantt to spoil myself too much, but my takeaway is:
- Abilities cannot be removed to a character once they're assigned. - If abilities are assigned to a character who leaves the party permanently, you will get more/better abilities later than you otherwise would. - Paladin Cecil and Adult Rydia do inherit abilities from their earlier forms.

Interesting aside: Some of these seem to have been removed/changed in the iOS version. I know I gave a couple augments to Yang, but didn't get Kick for it. :/
