I'm not going to write up a "full" review on this one, because it's only sort of an RPG, but Traitor is a fun little Flash shooter/RPG mashup that came across my feeds a while back. It's basically a shooter, but it's structured like an RPG- do missions to earn money and reputation, which you can use to upgrade your ship and access new areas. It's not very hard (and you've got infinite lives) and it's pretty fun- running through the whole game takes about three hours or so. - HC

Sorry, but because of the game's punishing difficulty, limited upgrade opportunities, and inability to replay old missions for extra cash, I think I'll stick with Upgrade Complete for now.

The early missions can be kind of rough, and yeah, I found I had to bounce around a little bit picking off easy ones at first. If you stick around the areas near the top-left and top-right of the map, there are a couple of "scanning" (survive for X amount of time)-type missions.
There is also a repeatable mission in the upper-right section of the map (the asteroid belt) that you can run for credits whenever you want. It requires destroying asteroids, however, and you'll need to upgrade your weapons a few times before you can really start racking up credits there.
There's another one in the locked area at the bottom of the map, but I found that I had all the credits I needed before I reached it, so I never actually ran it.
As a sidenote, if you restart the game and follow orders in the opening missions, you'll end up in the same place but they won't dock your credits. I'm not sure if this changes anything else in the game, but it nets you about 1700 credits.
