I don't know if anyone still plays this game or is interested in it, but I thought I'd share a list of useful mantras I learned from a GameFAQs message board post many years ago. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the original author.

DEATHMA - lethal (all), 3MP
DEJONLUS - annihilator, no exp. (one), 2MP
MERTON - dark damage (global), 20 MP
NTE - suicide annihilator (all), 24 MP
TETETEREFLEC - protect from attack spells once (one), 6MP
TETEREFLECO - protect from attack spells once (all), 26MP
TETEPERSUAN - purify pollution (one), 87MP (NOTE: PERSUAN has the same effect, but costs 99MP.)
INPULSE - random magic, 8MP
TETEMO - attack cannot fail (one), 1MP
PETETETEMIN - madness status (one), 1MP
TETEREK - block (cure) abnormal status (all), 1MP
TETESPELL - cancel magical status (global), 1MP
TETERA - escape from battle, 1MP
